What will you be doing?
Based in South Africa, you will be working as part of the Circana APAC (Australia) Data Release (Client Delivery) team. Managing a team of Analysts across Data Release to effectively build, maintain and dispatch databases, Unify/ILD and custom extracts (as required) services to Circana clients and retailers.
Looking after various clients from various channels across all Circana platforms as well as partnering with Client Service and commercial teams to understand client needs and to continually improve system processes and standards to deliver quality and timely databases and reports. You are accountable for your teams' impeccable planning, active communication and the execution of all contracted deliverables on time and to the quality standard as defined in the client contract.
Job Responsibilities
Database Deliverables and Reporting
Build and maintain all required Circana deliveries such as databases, model and extracts through various Circana platforms
Ensure database accuracy by reviewing data in accordance with Circana standards and ensuring that databases are provided within specified deadlines
Manage all database requests from Client Service and ensure they are completed to specification and checked prior to implementation
Dispatch databases to the client onsite or via FTP
Troubleshoot all client-identified data errors and ensure they are fixed and dispatched back to the client in a timely manner
Continuous Improvement
Identify, revise and implement improved system processes to increase efficiencies, data quality, and level of Temple or Liquid Data services provided to internal client serving teams and external clients
Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships across business verticals and regions involved in the delivery of ANZ deliverables/projects
Conduct and lead weekly cross-functional team meeting for various projects as required
Represent Data Release on various onboarding projects (both clients and internal projects) and leadership meetings in the absence of Data Release Manager or as required.
Contribute to client WIPs and work collaboratively with Client Service and commercial teams to action requirements
Team Leadership
Consistently demonstrate Circana values and lead by example
Manage workloads and set priorities for projects and services within the team
Conduct DMS meetings and allocate work and projects to the team, maintaining the accuracy of the database allocations each week
Coach the team on any escalated client and database issues and provide solutions as required
Ensure team members have the knowledge and skills to perform and meet new processes and standards
Manage ongoing performance and development of direct reports, ensuring all direct reports have motivating KPIs and development goals set
Provide coaching and mentoring of direct reports and other junior members of Operations to support their performance, growth, and development
Encourage and support cross-functional collaboration across Circana and within Operations teams (where appropriate)

Requirements
Ability to start work from 7:00 am to enable team meetings and handovers with APAC teams.
Associate's degree (e.g. BCom/BSc)
Strong knowledge of Circana technology capabilities
Ability to take clients on the journey from our legacy Temple software onto our ILD/Unify platform. Knowledge on Fusion, Excel, MDM, Circana Legacy systems (arps, Temple) and SQL will be an advantage
2+ years relevant work experience within Circana Operations
Demonstrated experience in process improvement/standardisation and working with cross-functional teams to drive change/standardisation
Demonstrates a partnership approach and maintains long-term mutually beneficial relationships with client-facing teams
Client oriented mindset with strong understanding of client needs within the CPG and Retail landscape
Demonstrated leadership experience with ability to build a high performing team
Proficiency in all MS applications, especially Excel e.g. V-lookups and pivot tables
A strong background in the FMCG industry
Previous experience working with a global and/or virtual team preferred
