Responsibilities:

Job Overview:

Records the receipt and despatch of goods. Issues materials according to requisitions, ensures that the goods reach their destination in good condition. May assist in stock taking. Works under direct supervision. Will be responsible for completing adhoc requests to fumigate tankers, spray areas which have infestation risks and manage IPM issues when requested. Must have a P No certificate for the position.

Receiving

Receive incoming raw material Ensure documents are correct with PO number Do truck inspection before receiving stock Check quality/quantity of received materials Weighbridge on incoming raw materials Fill in grv book and capture on SAP PGT Assist in receiving packaging material

Despatching

Despatch sweeping stock for animal feed customer Weighbridge on outgoing of animal feed stock Complete manual despatch note Submit complete document to General Clerk III

Admin

Stock Count Perform daily raw material stock count for raw material and animal feed Perform monthly stock count at the plant and external warehouse

House-Keeping

Ensure the warehouse is neat and tidy Report on sighting of infestation or rodent activities Despatching of brown pallets and cores

Adhoc Function

Assist at silo intake, to receive tanker of rice Fill Gastoxin tablets in dispensing machine Monitor plant for infestation and rodent activities Assist in spraying, areas with infestation Shift work when required at intake Control equipment incl. crates, pallets, scales & forklifts

Qualifications:
Matric (Math's) Tertiary Education will be an advantage 3 years relevant experience in food processing plant and IPM (Integrated Pest Management) Must have a P no to administer chemicals to eradicate pests Experience in FMCG is advantageous Health and Safety standards
