Job Description
TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Clerk (Receiving) within the Trade Division at Bethal, Mpumalanga.
Job Summary:
This role involves performing administrative and stock control tasks related to the receiving of goods. The Clerk (Receiving) is responsible for checking and labelling incoming stock, handling claims and repairs, assisting with stock takes, and ordering goods to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform general administrative tasks to support warehouse operations
- Receive and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality
- Label stock appropriately for identification and tracking
- Manage claims and coordinate repairs for damaged or incorrect items
- Assist with regular and ad-hoc stock takes to maintain inventory accuracy
- Place orders for goods as needed to ensure stock availability
- Support banking activities and petty cash handling
- Facilitate branch transfers of stock (incoming and outgoing)
- Compile and maintain accurate reports related to stock and operations
- Monitor and resolve issues related to negative stock balances
- Assist with job card processing and documentation
- Load EFTs and ensure proper financial documentation
- Matric / Grade 12
- Computer literate
- Self-motivated individual
- Be able to work under pressure
- Honest and reliable individual
