Cleaner X5 are required in North West (Bojanala x2 and Ngaka Modiri Molema x3)

xc2xb7Cleaning all areas of the VMMC clinic site, including offices, exam rooms, operating rooms, pre and post assessment, waiting area counselling rooms, toilets, kitchen and the entrance hall
xc2xb7Assists in carrying out infection control guidelines and universal precautions to avoid occupational exposure.

xc2xb7Takes reasonable care for the health, safety, and welfare of him/herself and other employees in accordance with VMMC site operations
xc2xb7Daily cleaning of the human tissue fridge
xc2xb7Adheres to always wearing safety equipment and clothing
xc2xb7 Daily carbolising of the theatre equipmentxe2x80x99s
xc2xb7Dis-infecting of all the MMC rooms from reception, waiting area
xc2xb7Emptying and segregating of waste bins at MMC facility
xc2xb7Daily cleaning of the kitchen which includes periodic cleaning of the refrigerator and microwave.
xc2xb7Cleaning and of the specimen refrigerator
xc2xb7Using of colour coded mops and cloths for cleaning different areas to prevent cross infection
xc2xb7Cleaning of all rooms in Mobile Unit and making it clean to provide VMMC services
xc2xb7Adherence to Infection Prevention and Control Standards.
xc2xb7Assist and serving of refreshments as when and where required
xc2xb7Ordering of cleaning materials and equipment as the need arise
xc2xb7Cleaning of all staff and client toilet daily and restocking of all bathrooms with supplies- hand wash, toilet paper etc
xc2xb7Responsible for collecting and disposing waste to the facility designated area
xc2xb7Manage and keep inventory of all cleaning supplies and material
xc2xb7Monitor and order cleaning suppliers
xc2xb7Assist in asset management and verification
xc2xb7Assist keeping stock inventory and management of stock cards
xc2xb7Dilution of the cleaning solution according to the set standard (manufacturing instructions)Reportingxc2xb7Report any incidents to line manager
xc2xb7Reporting of any maintenance issues you may come across while cleaning.xc2xb7Perform any other relevant and reasonable tasks within your scope of practice which may be required from time to time.
xc2xb7Keep abreast with RTC Care policies.

Qualification and experience

Grade 8/Standard 6

Two years working experience as a cleaner in health facilities.

Desired Experience

Two years working experience as a cleaner in VMMC facility
