1. Role Purpose



The Front of House Cleaner is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all guest-facing areas of the Laduree restaurant and patisserie. This role supports the luxury guest experience by maintaining an elegant and welcoming environment while assisting the service team during peak operations.

2. Key Responsibilities



Front of House & Back of House Cleaning & Presentation



Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, entrance, waiting area, and pastry display surroundings. Clean and sanitise tables, chairs, counters, and high-touch surfaces throughout service. Ensure all glass, mirrors, menu boards, and decor elements remain polished and spotless. Support setup and opening preparations to ensure the store is guest-ready at all times.

Hygiene & Safety Compliance



Follow proper hygiene standards, COVID and food safety protocols, and cleaning SOPs. Refresh restrooms regularly and ensure consumables are stocked. Safely operate cleaning chemicals and report hazards or maintenance issues immediately.

Operational Support



Assist with table clearing and resetting during high-volume service. Transport used crockery and cutlery to dishwashing/BOH cleaning area as needed. Maintain correct waste disposal procedures, including recycling where applicable.

Brand Support & Professional Conduct



Conduct cleaning duties discreetly and professionally without disrupting guests. Uphold Laduree's luxury brand standards through excellent housekeeping and presentation. Work as part of a collaborative team and assist FOH staff when required.

3. Minimum Requirements



Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or premium cleaning roles (advantageous). Grade 10/12 or equivalent qualification (advantageous). Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Physically able to lift, walk, bend, and stand for extended periods. Reliable transport to and from work.
