A Day in the Life

Embarking on a career as a Claims Specialist means stepping into a role where empathy meets efficiency. Your day involves managing the full claims cycle from registration through to closure while working within agreed service levels for both internal and external stakeholders. Your day involves performing day-to-day claims activities, to communicate and articulate the claims process and requirements to the clients, advise and update clients effectively and to process and finalise claims in line with the standards required.


At the heart of your work is a commitment to delivering excellent service. You build trust through transparency, maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and ensure each step of the claims journey is handled with care and clarity.

Who are we looking for

2-3 + years in personal and commercial claims Binder experience is preferred Experience in working with various insurers and products Experience within a short-term insurance brokerage preferred Analytical Skills Experience across general commercial policies such as SME, Property, Multimark Policies and the like Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team and independently

Qualifications:

Meets all Fit & Proper requirements as per the FSCA (i.e. no longer under supervision) RE5, Class of Business, Insurance related qualification
