Job SummaryA reputable engineering company based in Cape Town is looking for a civil technician to join its team.Key Requirements:
- Relevant Degree (Bsc QS / Btech QS)
- Must Be a South African Citizen
- Professional Registration Preferred
- 1 - 2 Years of Experience
- Valid Drivers License (Code 8)
- Must Reside in Western Cape
- Experience in the Replacement of Water/Sewer Pipes, Pipe Bursting Will Be Beneficial
- Resource and material management
- Cost and production monitoring
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving
- Timeous monthly measurements and data for progress statements
- Providing support to civil engineers in the design, construction and management of a variety of projects
- Ensuring a project matches client specifications
- Calculating the amount and type of materials needed
- Ensuring work is carried out according to deadlines
- Working on-site and in an office
