Hire Resolve's client, a reputable and growing engineering consultancy known for delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions across South Africa, is currently seeking a Civil Engineer or Civil Engineering Technologist to join their Cape Town-based team. Position: Civil Engineer / Civil Engineering Technologist
Location: Cape Town
Job Type: Permanent
Responsibilities
Design of municipal services, including preparation of related documentation
Produce technical deliverables for bulk earthworks platforms, roads, stormwater, sewer, and water services
Compile bills of quantities and technical project specifications in accordance with SANS codes
Monitor construction during project implementation
Prepare as-built drawings and close-out reports
Develop cost-effective and innovative engineering solutions
Liaise with municipalities, clients, and multidisciplinary project teams
Requirements
Qualifications:
B Eng or B Tech in Civil Engineering (Non-negotiable)
Eligible for ECSA professional registration within 2 to 5 years (advantageous)
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in civil services design
Proven design experience in bulk earthworks, sewer, stormwater, and water networks
Experience with Stormwater Management Plans (advantageous)
Proficiency in Civil Designer and AutoCAD
