As a Civil Engineer with expertise in Pavement and Road Projects, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design and construction of various transportation projects. This includes managing all aspects of the project, from initial feasibility studies to final completion. You will work closely with your team to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations for potential road and pavement projects
• Design, plan and supervise the construction of new roads, highways, and pavements
• Evaluate existing roadways and pavements for maintenance or rehabilitation projects
• Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings, including cost estimates and material specifications
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and quality control
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and clients

Requirements:

• BSc Pr Eng
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on pavement and road projects
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practices
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
