Job Summary
A civil construction firm specializing in infrastructure and earthworks projects, is currently seeking a Civil Construction Manager / Site Agent to join their team based in Wellington, Western Cape.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the execution of civil construction projects from start to finish.
Coordinate and manage site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met.
Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality standards.
Prepare project reports and communicate with stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
Manage site logistics and resolve issues promptly to avoid project delays.
Interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Requirements:
National Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in civil construction, ideally with roads, earthworks, and infrastructure projects.
Proven experience in a Site Agent or Construction Manager role.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within project areas.
