Civil Aviation Legal Advisor Regulation Development
Salary: R1.4 million CTC
Location: Midrand
Experience Required: 3+ years in legal practice & legislative drafting
Are you a Legal Advisor with a passion for aviation law and regulatory development? Our client is seeking a a skilled professional to support their legal and compliance team in ensuring the integrity of civil aviation regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop legally sound regulations and technical standards
- Manage regulatory formulation and approval processes
- Provide legal advisory services, including vetting contracts, exemptions, and policies
- Draft and finalize international agreements and memoranda of understanding (MOUs)
- Oversee litigation processes and represent cases in appeal committees
- Ensure regulations comply with legal and constitutional standards
- B Proc or LLB degree, with Admission as Attorney or Advocate
- Certification in Legislative Drafting (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in legal practice and regulation development
- Strong expertise in contract drafting, compliance, and stakeholder engagement
- Work in a dynamic regulatory environment impacting civil aviation
- Engage in high-level legal advisory and policy development
- Collaborate with global and national aviation experts
