Job Description
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR CHILD AND YOUTH CARE WORKER
NQF4 Qualification in child and youth care work
Valid Registration with the South African Council of Social Services Professions
Must be in possession of a valid
driver's license
Passion and love for children and youth
Must be computer literate.
Must be willing to work shifts
The ability to work in a professional team
Good planning and organizational skills
Good skills (verbal and written) in Afrikaans and English
Basic knowledge of a child and youth care center
Reliable transport to get to work
No criminal offenses
At least 5 years work experience in the profession
Duties include, among others, the supervision and control of, as well as the development, education and physical care of 10/12 children in a home.
