Child And Youth Care Worker Position

Job Description
Job responsibilities include:
supervising and parenting the children Assessing and responding to individual needs Reporting and managing children's behaviour in accordance with developmental and behavioural plans Medical care, including monitoring and reporting sick children to management Assisting in the implementation of planned activities, recreational, developmental, and therapeutic programs.
The minimum prerequisites for candidates are:
Child and Youth Care Qualification (minimum NQF level 4) SACSSP registration (2024/2025) Police clearance certificate Passion for working with children with disabilities Strong work ethic Ability to work under pressure Ability to work well as part of a team Ability to act as a trusted advisor to the children Experience in the CYCC field preferred Two contactable references
