Chief Financial Officer (CFO) xe2x80x93 Howick
A newly established company specialising in biomass products, seeks a CFO to oversee its financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end financial functions, including cash flow planning, financial analysis, and corrective actions
- Overseeing finance staff to produce monthly reports comparing actual Company performance with planned targets
- Develop and implement financial processes, internal controls, and policies
- Evaluate financial viability, forecast performance, and present reports to management and directors
- Evaluating financial viability and forecasting performance as well as presenting such reports to management and directors
- SAICA Registered Chartered Accountant (CA)SA
- 5-10 years of experience in a CFO/Financial Manager role
- Expertise in financial reporting, stakeholder management, risk, statutory management, and payroll reconciliation
- Solid background in financial accounting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow management, general finance, and budgeting
- Strong strategic and supply chain management skills, including logistics (import and export)
- Proficiency in MS Office, advanced Excel, and accounting software (Xero, Pastel, or Accpac)
- Background in the forestry industry or manufacturing is advantageous
- Effective management and communication skills
- Characteristics such as integrity, honesty, and reliability
- Ability to perform under pressure, and delegate workload effectively.
