Minimum Requirements
:
BCom Accounting Degree or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
5 - 8 years' experience in an accounting environment
Core Responsibilities
:
Advise on and provide assistance to plan, manage, implement, monitor and evaluate systems and services related to financial practices, ensuring compliance with accounting practices, Local Government Acts and overall Finance Strategy
Advise on and implement strategic capability and leadership to comply to strategic objectives
Perform operational process to ensure compliance and accurate reporting on operational activities
Ensure governance and risk management to minimise risk in terms of credit control and compliance with legislation
Ensure financial process to ensure compliance with financial related legislation
Ensure customer service orientation to improve customer relations
