Job Summary
Key Responsibilities

  • Run and manage your designated section (grill, sauce, pastry, etc.)
  • Prepare and present dishes to the highest standard
  • Maintain food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness protocols
  • Ensure proper stock control and mise en place for service
  • Assist with training and mentoring junior staff
  • Collaborate on menu ideas and seasonal updates
Education & Experience
  • Matric or equivalent with 2-3 years' experience in a similar Chef de Partie or Demi Chef role
OR * 1-2 year Culinary Diploma or Certificate + 1-2 years' relevant kitchen experience
  • Previous experience in hotel, restaurant, or boutique property kitchens preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
  • Passion for fresh, seasonal, and innovative cuisine
