Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join the culinary team of a luxury private island resort in Madagascar. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a passionate chef to live and work in a pristine, remote island environment while contributing to an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present high-quality dishes in line with the resort's culinary standards
Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations
Ensure consistent quality and portion control across all meals
Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and cleanliness in the kitchen
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
Work closely with the wider team to provide a seamless guest experience
Adapt to a variety of international cuisines and dietary requirements
Requirements:
Previous experience in a Chef de Partie role within a luxury or fine dining setting
Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen procedures
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a remote environment
Passion for food, creativity and attention to detail
A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility and a positive, can-do attitude
Package Includes:
Full board accommodation on the island
Return flights once per year with a generous travel expense allowance
Medical cover while on the island
Salary: USD 1,500 Gross per month
