Job Description

Introduction Medilogistics is looking for a fresh and energetic Checker Grade 1 to join their team at Pongola. This individual will be responsible for QA with Supervisor of the consolidated bags per region and will be reporting to the Logistics Manager.

Job Function:



Sorting of parcels from the conveyor belt Loading parcels into their respective parcel bins Scanning of all freight received for different branches on the Freight Ware System Packing of parcels into console bags Sorting of "Same day" and oncology parcels into their respective bins Receive Special Meds and bin them accordingly Ensure Manifest corresponds with the number of parcels in the bin Handover parcels and Manifest to the couriers Labelling or marking console bags according to the destination Hub Recording of Freight onto the pre-alert sheet Receiving and debriefing of returned parcels and send to stock returns department Sending SDX parcels to Gezina Hub Ensure prioritization of all Freight received

Minimum requirements



Grade 12


EXPERIENCE



Computer Literacy Administrative experience 2 years administrative experience

COMPETENCIES



Verbal and Written communication skills Listening skills Promotion of good customer service orientation Ability to work with minimum supervision. Prioritizing skills. Be able to manage large workload. Must be able to work under pressure. Proven query resolution skills Proactive
No criminal record.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: R8000,00 - R9000,00 per month
