Group Accountant CA(SA) - Ekurhuleni Johannesburg Gauteng

Salary: R55-77k CTC Per Month

Purpose of Position:

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Group Accountant for a permanent position based in Ekurhuleni, Germiston, Johannesburg Gauteng. The purpose of the accountant is to efficiently execute the allocated Group Accountant roles and responsibilities. As well as assist the finance department and support the Group through efficient cost analysis and provision of insights. This position reports directly to the Group CFO.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12; Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting Degree.
• CA(SA); Completed Articles training to become a Chartered Accountant
• Experience in financial accounting field.

• Must have group consolidation experience including converting different currencies from subsidiary companies
• FMCG, Logistics, Freight or Courier business experience
• South African citizen with clear criminal record
• Working hours 07:30 17:00 office based, not remote

Skills:

• Ability to manage own work to ensure deadline achievement.
• Good planning and organising skills.
• Ability to communicate at all levels.
• Advanced Computer skills in MS Office with Advanced Excel skills.
• Attention to detail, meticulous.
• Able to operate under pressure.

Duties:

• Compiling of monthly Shareholders packs
• Working with the Business Units on monthly reporting packs
• Group cash flow reporting and management
• Group Consolidations (consolidating about 8 entities)
• Due Diligence process if required
• Compiling of investment papers for potential acquisitions
• Supply a support function to start up companies or new acquisitions
• Management of Group P&L
• Evaluating business processes on the Business units to improve efficiencies and profitability
