Supervise and coordinate daily activities within the centre.
Ensure smooth running of all operational processes.
Implement and maintain health, safety, and security measures.
Staff Supervision:
Allocate duties and monitor staff performance.
Conduct training, coaching, and mentoring of staff.
Manage staff schedules, leave, and attendance records.
Customer Service:
Ensure a high standard of customer service is delivered at all times.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
Build strong relationships with clients, customers, and stakeholders.
Administration & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of centre activities, staff, and finances.
Prepare and submit reports on performance, challenges, and improvements.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
Resource & Facility Management:
Oversee the use and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and supplies.
Ensure resources are effectively utilized and well-maintained.
Report and follow up on repairs, maintenance, or procurement needs.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify gaps and areas for operational improvement.
Contribute to strategic planning and development of the centre.
Implement initiatives that improve efficiency, staff performance, and customer satisfaction.
Skills and Experience
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
At least 5 years of relevant experience in the following:
+ Repairs in the building trade
+ Plumbing / landscaping
+ Fire extinguishers / alarms / diesel generators
+ Elevators / fat trap Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Customer service orientation.
Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
Would work from 8-5 daily with 2 weekends off.
