Job Requirements
A minimum of an Honours degree or equivalent qualification is required.
A relevant Master's degree, postgraduate qualifications, or completion of short courses will be considered an added advantage.
At least 7 years of experience in enterprise development, innovation and development
Duties:
Develop and present business plans, implementation strategies, and funding proposals. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring alignment with institutional policies, compliance standards, and reporting requirements. Collaborate with faculties and internal divisions to support the university's vision of becoming an entrepreneurial institution. Compile and submit technical reports and means of verification to the Small Enterprise Development Finance Agency (SEFDA), ensuring all key performance indicators (KPIs) for the incubator are met. Act as the secretary for the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Rapid Incubation (UCfERI) governance committee. Provide coaching, mentoring, and advisory support to students, staff, and community-based entrepreneurs. Lead and manage the UCfERI team effectively. Evaluate and report on the impact of the centre's initiatives and activities.
