Purpose of the position:
The CCMDD Co-Ordinator will be responsible for assisting the employer, the District offices, relevant district management and health facilities with any CCMDD and SyNCH related queries including Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) (including training of DOH District officials on SyNCH) and clinical queries such as guideline and formulary management, queries on medicine regimens on SyNCH etc. The CCMDD Co-Ordinator will also provide guidance and training to sub-district and district ICT staff on any health sector related matters and will monitor the use of the CCMDD software system across the health facility
Minimum Requirements
Qualified and registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council
Minimum Four (4) years' relevant experience after registration as a Pharmacist
MS Office
Current valid driver's license
Ability to communicate in English or isiXhosa
Clear criminal record
Duties and Responsibilities
Rendering quality of pharmacy support, especially to the District Differentiated Care
Development and implementation of a district pharmacy support operational plan in co-operation with all stakeholders and grant partners.
Training, mentoring and support of the district team as well as participation in the development of training tools
Supervises Pharmacist's Assistants to ensure continuous availability of medicine to patients by using proper stock management, ordering and receipt methods.
Monitoring the implementation of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and evaluation of performance of contracted Central Chronic Medicine Dispensing and Distribution (CCMDD) Service Provider and Pick-up Points.
Development and implementation of corrective pharmaceutical action in cooperation with the SEAD Senior Pharmacy Advisor, facility staff and the project team
Relationship management and on-going liaison with contracted CCMDD Service Provider and District stakeholders, as well as close collaboration with other project teams within SEAD
Work under supervision of the SEAD Senior Pharmacy Advisor.

* Any other duties in support of SEAD objectives as appropriately delegated from time to time
