Job Description

Surveillance Monitoring:

• Monitor live CCTV feeds from multiple cameras to identify and respond to unusual or suspicious activities.
• Maintain continuous surveillance of designated areas and promptly report any potential security breaches.

Emergency Response:

• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations, including accidents, security breaches, and alarms.
• Coordinate with appropriate personnel, such as security teams, law enforcement, and emergency services, as needed.

Incident Reporting:

• Document incidents, observations, and actions taken in detail, maintaining accurate and thorough records.
• Prepare incident reports for review by supervisors and management.

Alarm Handling:

• Monitor alarm systems and respond to triggered alarms, taking appropriate actions based on established protocols.
• Verify alarms and assess the situation before alerting relevant personnel.

Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with other security personnel, colleagues, and supervisors to exchange information and coordinate actions.

Compliance:

• Adhere to established security and operational procedures, including data protection and privacy regulations.
• Follow company policies and guidelines for handling sensitive information.

Security Enhancement:

• Suggest improvements to the surveillance system setup and monitoring procedures for enhanced security effectiveness.

Training:

• Stay updated on the latest security protocols, technologies, and industry trends related to CCTV monitoring.
• Participate in training sessions to maintain proficiency in emergency response procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training in security and surveillance is a plus.
• Previous experience in security, surveillance, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems, camera operations, and alarm monitoring.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused during long hours of monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and external responders.
• Problem-solving skills to assess situations and respond appropriately in emergencies.
