Stock & Procurement: Manage spare parts and consumables, ensuring timely procurement and accurate record-keeping.
Compliance: Adhere to food safety, health, and hygiene regulations; conduct risk assessments; maintain equipment in safe, sanitary condition.
Installations: Assist with commissioning and integration of new equipment while upholding safety and warranty standards.
Emergency Response: Respond quickly to breakdowns, providing temporary fixes when needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with F&B, chefs, and engineering to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.
Reporting: Keep detailed maintenance logs, update the Chief Engineer weekly, and provide monthly reports via CMMS or similar systems.
Skills & Experience
3+ years experience in catering/kitchen equipment maintenance.
Strong knowledge of gas, electrical, and electronic kitchen appliances.
Skilled in diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Experience with procurement, stock control, and CMMS systems.
Gas certification (advantageous).
Ability to interpret manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
Strong communicator and team player, able to work in fast-paced environments.
