Job Summary Casual Waiters Stellenbosch | Luxury Wine Estate | Salary Negotiable DOE Kendrick Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and professional Casual Waiters to join a luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch. This role requires individuals with patience, personality and perseverance, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience. Key Responsibilities: Warmly greet guests and present menus and wine lists Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods Ensure tables are properly set with linens, silverware and glasses Accurately take and process food and beverage orders using the Point-of-Sale system Liaise with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service Clear tables promptly and maintain a clean dining environment Offer dessert, coffee and additional services where appropriate Prepare and present bills accurately Uphold high standards of personal hygiene, appearance and uniform presentation Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all restaurant areas Requirements: Grade 12 qualification Preferably 1 year's experience as a waiter/waitress Experience with cash registers and ordering systems an advantage Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills Attentive; patient and confident when engaging with distinguished clientele Well-presented; enthusiastic and adaptable Flexibility; accountability and a positive attitude Own or reliable transport Package: Salary negotiable depending on experience Casual role with opportunities to work within a luxury hospitality environment
