Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable and customer-focused Cashiers/ Store Assistant to join our team in a unique environment that combines a vibrant restaurant and a curated curio shop in the Kruger National Park. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions efficiently, assist with merchandising, and help maintain a clean, welcoming space for customers. Own accommodation needed and able to travel by bus from the Malelane gate on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Cashier Duties:

Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, courteous service.

Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process sales accurately

Gaap point of sales experience will be beneficial

Handle cash, card, and mobile payments; issue receipts and change.

Maintain a balanced cash drawer and report discrepancies.

Answer questions about products, prices, and availability.

Store Assistant Duties:

Assist customers with product selection and offer recommendations in the curio shop.

Restock shelves, monitor inventory levels, and assist in ordering products.

Ensure displays are tidy, attractive, and well-organized.

Receive & unpack new merchandise.

Help with cleaning duties, such as wiping counters and maintaining stockroom organization.

Skills & Qualifications:

Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service preferred.

Basic math and cash-handling skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Trustworthy, punctual, and detail-oriented.

A friendly and positive attitude.
