7 Rings Cafe
is looking for aCashier
to process customer orders, take payments, handle cash and credit transactions, provide change and receipts, and ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, the cashier may assist in stocking pastry display units or taking customer orders. The Cashier will be responsible for operating a cash register and providing excellent customer service to patrons in a cafe setting.Specific Duties:
Greeting customers when entering or leaving the store Processing customer payments by cash or credit/debit cards Releasing receipts, credits, change, or refunds to cafe customers Complying with cash control procedures, reconciliations and performing daily cash-up according to set procedures. Resolving customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information Maintaining clean and tidy checkout areas Tracking transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies Diligently, competently, and faithfully performing all of the duties and functions.
Requirements:
At least one year experience as a Cashier in a restaurant or cafe. Experience with POS systems (eg GAAP, PILOT) required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R4500,00 - R5500,00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Centurion, Gauteng 0014: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
operating POS systems (eg GAAP, PILOT): 1 year (Required)
