About the Role
We are looking for a highly
detail-oriented and organised Case Manager
to support the backend servicing of existing customer loan accounts within a UK-based finance business. This role is
administration-led and task-based
, focusing on maintaining loan accounts, updating systems, managing reminders, and ensuring all servicing activities are completed accurately and on time.
While there is some borrower interaction via phone and email, this is
not a sales role
. The focus is on professional communication, account maintenance, and escalation of any risks or issues to the relevant internal teams.
This role would suit someone with a
banking, portfolio management, loan servicing, or operational finance background
who enjoys structured work and working within systems.
Key Responsibilities
Loan & Case Management
Manage a portfolio of existing customer loan accounts post-completion
Complete daily, task-based servicing activities across assigned cases
Monitor loan timelines, maturity dates, and repayment milestones
Identify loans that are not progressing as expected and escalate appropriately
System & Admin Responsibilities
Update loan records, fees, charges, and notes accurately within the CRM system
Maintain reminders for insurance renewals and other key account requirements
Prepare and issue documentation, much of which is system-generated, ensuring accuracy before release
Maintain accurate, up-to-date case files at all times
Borrower Communication
Communicate with borrowers via phone and email in a professional, polite, and clear manner
Issue late payment and arrears correspondence when required
Pick up on borrower intentions or future purchases during conversations and flag internally (non-sales)
Compliance & Risk
Ensure all servicing actions are completed in line with internal policies and procedures
Support the Credit and Compliance teams by escalating risks, missed payments, or overdue accounts
Maintain accurate records of all borrower interactions and servicing actions
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in case management, loan servicing, banking, or financial operations
Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail
Comfortable working with CRM and loan management systems
Logical, structured, and task-focused working style
Confident and professional telephone manner
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines consistently
Desirable Experience
Background as a portfolio manager, banker, or servicing administrator
Experience within property finance or lending environments
Familiarity with UK financial services processes (training provided)
