The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As we are growing in the region, we are looking for a

Case Manager

to join our Medical Surgical team in South Africa, Fourways- Johannesburg. As a Case Manager you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Supporting a team of 4 - 6 Internal Sales Coordinators within the ISC Department. Collection, coordination, of all appropriate patient information as required for funding of Vac Therapy with the Medical and Insurance Funders. Such information will have to be collated and NPWT assessments written in accordance with funder requirements obtain direct reimbursement for patient specific VAC Therapy treatment with accurately applying ICD 10 coding. Responsible for building and maintaining strong Client Relationships with Case Managers at Medical and Insurance Funders, as well as Private Nurse Practitioners. Follow all Company policies and procedures. Investigate and follow-up any queries/issues as requested by the Management team and proficiently respond to such queries

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Science / Nursing / Case Management Qualifications / experience in Wound Care and/or Field experience in NPWT would be an advantage. 3 - 5 years in a Managed Care / Funder environment would be advantageous ICD/CPT coding certificate will be an advantage Current, valid Driver's License with own vehicle Intermediate Basic Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Word, Power Point,

Outlook)
Clear and in-depth understanding of the healthcare industry structure in South Africa Knowledge of scheme rules, exclusions and benefits in a Medical Scheme

environment. Understanding of the pre-authorization process required by medical schemes in South Africa
Telephone etiquette of high standards Communication and People Skills. Must be able to communicate with all levels of management, staff, members, and customers Must be a strong team player, assertive, a people person and able to work

independently without supervision.
Proactive, organized and able to multitask and work well under pressure Must be compassionate, care-driven professional who believes in facilitating

wellness for patients and their families.
Attention to detail Highly motivated and positive attitude Honesty, Accuracy, Integrity

Work location:

Hybrid

(Job Duties allow for some remote work but you will be required at Solventum Head Office, Fourways at least 2-3 days per week)

Travel:

May include up to 20% (domestic/international)
