Position: Carpenter / Furniture Restorer

Qualifications and Accreditations:
?Minimum requirement: Grade 12 with relevant work experience.
?Valid South African drivers license, minimum code 8
Minimum Attributes:
? Knowledge of the methods of carpentry work.
?xc3xafxc2xb8xc2x8f Skills in using tools to cut and join wooden materials.
xc3xa2xc2x9cxc2x8dxc3xafxc2xb8xc2x8f Ability to follow written instructions.
?xc3xafxc2xb8xc2x8f Ability to follow oral instructions with little need for repetition.
xc3xa2xc2x9dxc2x84xc3xafxc2xb8xc2x8f Ability to work under pressure.
Essential duties and responsibilities.
? Restore furniture and fix damaged areas.
? Gather material to be used.
? Paint mixing and colour matching.
? Measures and marks materials for cutting.
? Cuts and drills wood and other materials using hand and power tools.
? Joins materials with nails, screws, or glue.
? Checks accuracy of work with levels, rulers and measuring tapes.
xc3xa2xc2x8fxc2xb3 Deadline driven with ability to carefully assess and streamline processes.
xc3xa2xc2x8fxc2xb0 Must be able to handle pressure and be willing to work extended hours if required.
