We specialize in cabinets, therefore we need a Carpenter with cabinetry and vanity experience who thinks outside the box

Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF 4
• 3+ years experience in finish carpentry
• Additional 1+ years experience in rough carpentry preferred
• Extensive knowledge of power tools, including skill saw, mitre saw and jigsaw possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time
• Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 36 kilograms
• Knowledge of lumber grades and countertop materials

• Customer focused and service orientated
• Adding value to the functions of the job

Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings for cabinetry, framing and other construction projects
• Interpret client requests and provide mock-ups for clients to approve prior to commencing work
• Build cabinets and other projects based on demand
• Frame room additions as needed for client
• Select and evaluate materials for defects
• Install cabinets, counters and molding
• Follow all code requirements

• Strong analytical , numeracy and interpersonal skills
• Good computer literacy, with the ability to function at an advanced level in
• Excel Ability to function independently in a team and accept responsibility
