Programme Purpose
The CAPACITI Demand Academy 9 (ADS 6) - Sep 2025 is designed to equip participants with high-demand digital skills aligned to global and local IT trends. It bridges the gap between foundational IT knowledge and specialised workplace readiness.

Application Process and Criteria
Minimum Requirements:
- South African Nationality (Born Citizenship)
- Between the ages of 18 - 34 years old.
- Meet the minimum NQF level qualification--completed NQF Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
- Experience and qualifications in IT fundamentals (advantageous). No prior work experience needed.
- Provide your academic record and certificate of highest academic achievement.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office) and understanding of IT concepts (Hardware, Software, Networking).
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work well in a team and independently.
- No criminal record and a clear credit history.
- Be unemployed at the time of application.
- Able to attend full-time Monday to Friday (08:00 - 17:00) and commit to the full 12-month IT Learnership Programme and commit to completing it.
- Must be an EE candidate and preference will be given to PWD candidates (People with Disabilities).
Candidates will need to:

• Attend virtual and/or in-person interview

Placement Requirements

• Placement is not guaranteed, but CAPACITI will match candidates with our partner companies based on fit.
• Final interviews and placements are based on stream alignment, partner demand, and candidate performance

• This programme is based in Cape Town and requires on-site attendance
• Interview dates and IT Streams will be confirmed based on demand streams set by our Placement Team.
