Job Summary ? Camp Coordinator | Remote Training Camp ? ? Hoedspruit, Limpopo ? Competitive Salary (Negotiable DOE) | ? Live-In Position Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and highly organised Camp Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of a remote training camp. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage operations, hospitality, logistics, staff, and guest experiences in a high-end wilderness environment ?? As a key member of the team, the Camp Coordinator ensures that all camp operations run smoothly, staff are supported, and guests and students receive an exceptional and professional experience ??????? ? Key Responsibilities: Camp Operations & Coordination o Oversee day-to-day operations of a remote training camp ?? o Ensure compliance with reserve and concession rules and regulations o Manage guest, student, and staff adherence to codes of conduct ? o Liaise with reserve management, landowners, and internal teams on operational matters o Oversee camp infrastructure, vehicles, equipment, and maintenance requirements ?? Hospitality; Housekeeping & Guest Experience o Maintain high-end hospitality and housekeeping standards ??? o Manage room allocations, camp presentation, cleanliness, and guest comfort o Oversee guest arrivals, departures, and overall experience o Collect and manage guest and student feedback for continuous improvement Administration; Logistics & Communication o Manage camp communications including phone and emails ?? o Prepare for courses: listings, paperwork, welcome letters, room allocations, menus, and food orders ?? o Maintain camp administration: filing, invoicing, and record-keeping o Manage stock control, petty cash, and basic financial administration ? People & Staff Management o Supervise housekeeping, kitchen, and general camp staff ? o Allocate duties, manage schedules, and maintain performance standards o Foster a positive, professional camp culture o Maintain effective relationships with instructors, students, interns, and visitors Health; Safety & Compliance o Ensure compliance with legal, insurance, health, and safety requirements ?? o Implement and maintain company policies and procedures o Maintain accurate records and reporting related to compliance and operations ? Minimum Requirements: Educational Qualifications o Matric (Grade 12) ? o Qualification from a recognised Hotel School, Hospitality Management institution, or formal lodge operations/high-end housekeeping training Experience o Minimum 5 years in safari, lodge, hospitality, conservation, or tour operating environment ? o Proven experience in camp, lodge, or operational coordination roles o Experience working in remote or wilderness-based environments ?? Technical & Professional Skills o Strong organisational, logistical, and administrative skills ? o High computer literacy ? o Experience with stock control, cash handling, and basic invoicing o Ability to implement high-end hospitality standards in a remote environment Personal Attributes o High energy, solution-oriented, pragmatic approach ? o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills ?? o Strong leadership presence and people-management ability o Professional, accountable, and with high integrity o Valid driver's licence ? o Excellent track record with contactable references ?
