Introduction to the VKB Group

The VKB Group is an agricultural company, providing support to farmers and producing straight-from-the farm-foods for consumers. Apart from the various consumer brands, the VKB Group is also represented by its regional brands: VKB, GWK and NTK. Our roots are firmly planted in agriculture with farming at our core, continuously growing and evolving throughout the years.



Starting with providing everything needed on the farm to produce food, we now also operate in all areas of the food supply chain: processing, logistics, and national and global market channels.

To monitor all areas of the SPAR property through the control room, ensuring the safety and security of the premises by detecting and reporting suspicious activity, coordinating with security personnel, and maintaining accurate incident logs in order to prevent theft and maintain a secure environment.

Requirements

Grade 12 certificate Trustworthy with excellent communication skills Ability to work well under pressure with strong concentration Alert, observant, and able to react quickly and calmly in emergencies Discreet and able to always maintain confidentiality Able to work independently without supervision Previous experience in a similar role will be an advantage Clean Criminal Record

Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor all areas of SPAR property from the control room Coordinate with security personnel to ensure all security checks and procedures are followed Report any theft, suspicious activity, or security breaches to police and management promptly Identify and report potential safety and security risks to the appropriate parties Maintain detailed logs of all incidents for reporting to police or management
