Key Responsibilities
As a Student Advisor, you will be responsible for:
Student Guidance & Support
: Provide career advice, programme counselling, and assist students in selecting suitable qualifications.
Registration & Enrolment
: Guide prospective students through the application and registration process, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
Lead Conversion
: Follow up on leads from the CRM system, attend walk-ins, open days, and assist with achieving registration targets.
Student Retention
: Engage with current students to promote academic success, track progression, and reduce drop-out rates.
Administration
: Maintain accurate student records, contracts, and ensure compliance with institutional policies and DHET regulations.
Customer Service
: Act as a point of contact for students and parents, providing high-quality service and support at all times.
Minimum Requirements
At least 2-3 years of proven experience as a Student Advisor, Student Recruitment Officer, or related education support role.
Knowledge of Higher Education and Training programmes.
Familiarity with CRM systems and lead management processes.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
High attention to detail and strong administrative capabilities.
Matric required. A Diploma or Degree in Education, Marketing, or Business will be advantageous.
Location
Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal
This is an on-site role. Occasional Saturdays and extended hours may be required during registration periods.
