Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Roads and Stormwater CAD Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and implementation of road infrastructure and stormwater management systems, utilizing their expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop design concepts and specifications for roads and stormwater infrastructure projects.
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed drawings, plans, and schematics for road layouts, drainage systems, and stormwater management facilities.
• Ensure that drawings adhere to industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents and technical reports.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and clients.
• Coordinate with other members of the design team to integrate road and stormwater designs with overall project plans.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Civils 3D, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, particularly in the areas of road design and stormwater management.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to road and stormwater infrastructure.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
