Job Description
Fair Price is looking for an Experienced CAD Manager to lead our design and drafting efforts and to shape the future of modern furniture manufacturing through smart design systems.
What You'll be doing:
Lead and manage the CAD team supporting design, engineering and manufacturing Prepare preliminary costings from CAD Drawings (Raw Materials) and ensure costings are completed on time and conform to standards Oversee the prototype development from CAD to physical Build Ensure drawings are production ready, and are clear, accurate, and compatible with CNC/Machinery Streamline workflows for custom and volume production projects by recommending process improvements for speed, accuracy and cost control. Maintain software systems (Licensing, updates and best practices) and ensure team is trained on the latest CAD Tools Provide hands-on support and mentorship to the CAD Team
What we are looking for:
Matric Relevant Diploma/Degree 3-4 Years' Experience in a leadership/Management Role 3-4 Years' in furniture design/woodworking/panel production 3-4 years in Product costing Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, materials and tolerances specific to furniture production
