Summary of Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled C# Developer to collaborate with a Workday Certified Developer in replacing an existing Workday integration with a new, robust C# application. You will play a key role in investigating the current solution, designing, and developing a scalable application that interfaces with Workday's RESTful API.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Workday Certified Developer to analyze and document the current Workday integration. Participate in the investigation and reverse engineering of existing data flows and integration points. Design and architect a new C# application to interface with Workday's RESTful API, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security. Develop, test, and deploy high-quality C# code for seamless integration with Workday. Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data handling in all API interactions. Work closely with stakeholders such as internal Product Managers to gather requirements and ensure the new solution meets business objectives. Contribute to technical documentation, including API specifications and integration guides. Participate in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, code reviews, and regular releases. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve integration issues as they arise.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in C# and .NET development, with strong object-oriented programming and design pattern knowledge. Hands-on experience integrating with RESTful APIs, including authentication (OAuth, SAML, etc.), error handling, and data transformation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience investigating and reverse-engineering existing solutions. Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks. Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of security best practices in API development and data integration.

Preferred/Bonus Qualifications

Experience with Workday's RESTful API or similar enterprise SaaS APIs. Background in HR, payroll, or financial systems integration. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS) and modern DevOps practices.
