Summary of Responsibilities
The Lead Developer will architect, design, and oversee the implementation of a robust, scalable, unified API layer for our client's platform, using C# .NET. This role involves technical leadership, hands-on development, and close collaboration with a dedicated cross-functional team to deliver high-quality software aligned with the project goals.
Key Duties

• Lead the design and development of full stack applications using C#, .NET.

• Define technical standards, best practices, and code quality guidelines, and agree these with our client's development team leaders.

• Mentor and guide senior developers, conducting code reviews and knowledge sharing

• Collaborate with stakeholders such as our client's Product Owners, and our Technical Project Manager to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Oversee system architecture, integration, and deployment strategies

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions
• Must work UK office hours

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with significant full stack expertise

• Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, Core and Entity Framework

• Experience with Azure infrastructure, especially API Gateway and technologies

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Experience with Agile methodologies

Preferred/Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Prior experience in a lead or architect role on large-scale projects

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks
