Job Description


Our client has an opportunity available for a Buyer in the Finance department based in Randfontein.

Requirements:

  • Matric certificate.
  • Procurement course or qualification.
  • 5+ years' experience in the purchasing of mechanical-electrical parts and components in a project-based organisation.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive request for materials and parts from various sources.
  • Confirm clarity of specification to ensure the effectiveness of sourcing.
  • Perform follow-ups to confirm due delivery or collection dates.
  • Arrange collection with logistics department.
  • Confirm orders delivered or received to specification.
  • Receive and prepare delivery notes and invoices.
  • Resolve matters relevant to incorrect deliveries, delivery notes & invoices.
This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract position.
