The candidate:

Fairmont High School is seeking the services of a suitably qualified educator to teach both Business Studies and Life Orientation from 1 January 2024. Newly qualified educators are welcome to apply.

Requirements:

• A BComm or other relevant qualification (Post graduate studies in a related field will be an advantage).
• Qualified to teach Grades 10 xe2x80x93 12 (FET).
• Use of effective, innovative teaching strategies, including the use of computer technology within the classroom.
• Commitment to and embodiment of the Schoolxe2x80x99s core values of Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence.
• Active involvement in the school extra-mural programme, with high awareness of and commitment to holistic development of learners.
• A demonstrated commitment to life-long learning and personal professional development.

• A relevant, up-to-date, comprehensive CV that includes specialisation subjects and grades.
• The contact details of at least 2 recent references.
• Certified copies of educational qualifications and transcripts, confirming specialisation subjects.
• Certified copy of SACE Registration (or proof of application).
• A list of other subjects offered.
• A list of extra-curricular activities offered.
