Key responsibilities
- Support the Business Development team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through technical input and documentation support.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and commercial stakeholders to ensure clear, timely communication of programme updates and client requirements.
- Participate in regular programme meetings to maintain awareness of project developments and proactively support technical and commercial alignment.
- Engage daily with the engineering and integration teams to gather updates, enhance technical knowledge, and provide real-time feedback to the Business Development function.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing system costing documentation and commercial proposals using Microsoft Excel and internal tools.
- Contribute to the drafting, proofreading, and reviewing of contracts, End User Certificates (EUCs), and other legal documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate and host client visits, including system demonstrations and facility tours, to support relationship management and business acquisition efforts.
- Attend meetings with suppliers and external stakeholders alongside the Business Development and Engineering teams to provide technical support and capture key information.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive positioning to contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Provide general support to senior executives on business development-related tasks as required.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 85% Matric average (compulsory requirement)
Experience
- 0-5 years of experience in a technical, business development or client-facing role.
