Job Summary
Our client in the IT Industry based in Port Elizabeth is currently looking to employ a Business Development Manager to join their team based in Port Elizabeth.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' proven track record in B2B sales (IT, telecoms, or technology-related industry preferred).
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed performance-based sales targets.
Basic understanding of IT services such as cybersecurity, cloud solutions, or managed support (technical expertise not required, but the ability to sell the value is essential).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, ConnectWise, or similar) to manage opportunities and track performance.
Knowledge of the Port Elizabeth/Eastern Cape business market is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
Hunt New Business: Identify and target businesses facing IT challenges. Build a strong sales pipeline.
Solve Real Problems: Engage with clients to understand their pain points and position IT services as the solution.
Close Deals: Manage the full sales process from prospecting through to signed agreements, with technical and marketing support available to back your efforts.
Grow Revenue: Focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth through new client acquisition.
