Duties & Responsibilities
Identify and secure new business opportunities in the mining sector.
Build strong relationships with decision-makers at mining operations.
Prepare and present proposals, tenders, and commercial offers.
Negotiate contracts that align with company goals.
Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends.
Manage existing accounts and drive client satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service excellence.
Skills and Competencies
Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the mining sector
Skilled in preparing proposals and responding to tenders
Confident in negotiating contracts and closing deals
Strong relationship-building and client management skills
Able to conduct market research and apply insights to business strategy
Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Excel
Clear and effective communicator with strong presentation skills
Analytical thinker who makes informed decisions based on data
Organised and results-driven, with a focus on meeting customer expectations
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years' experience selling to the mining sector (not limited to security services)
Proven success in business development and strategic sales
Strong understanding of mining operations and procurement processes
Valid driver's license and own reliable transport
* Willingness to travel extensively within Rustenburg and Bushveld regions
