Minimum Requirements
Qualifications

  • Matric (Essential)
  • Degree in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (Advantageous)
Experience
  • 3-5 years' proven experience in Business Development / Sales
  • Strong background in Road Freight, Courier, and Logistics
  • Demonstrated experience in both hunting and farming sales
  • Ability to develop pricing models and present to senior leadership
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Office
  • Excel (Intermediate)
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new business development through cold calling, email campaigns, and proactive market prospecting
  • Build sustainable relationships with potential and existing clients
  • Design and develop accurate pricing models, forecasts, and commercial proposals
  • Conduct needs analysis and qualify clients based on operational and commercial requirements
  • Engage effectively with C-suite executives and decision-makers
  • Attend industry events, expos, and logistics conferences to grow the company's footprint
  • Lead strategic client meetings and professional presentations
  • Manage key accounts: retention, support, upselling, and relationship depth
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
