LifeWise seeks to employ a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for (1) establishing and maintaining an effective sales force of Field Sales Managers and Independent Contractors in order to consistently meet new business volume and quality standards, (2) business development and (3) related support.
You will be responsible for:
Generating Stop Order sales that meet/exceed the LifeWise volume and quality standards through targeted field sales productivity in existing and new facilities.
Maintaining the focus on quality Stop Order sales and preventing unauthorised deductions through misrepresentation and other types of sales fraud.
Contracting with, training, coaching and retaining the agreed number of capable Independent Contractors with sound ethical standards.
Ensuring that the agreed daily/weekly/monthly productivity (sales volume and quality standard) is achieved by every Independent Contractor.
Motivating each Field Sales Manager and Independent Contractor, and addressing any areas where improvement is required.
Business development through identifying, negotiating and securing new payroll deduction facilities.
Managing and controlling approved expense budgets.
Managing and developing direct reports (Field Sales Managers), ensuring that they achieve their agreed objectives, and adhere to LEZA Group and LifeWise policies and procedures.
Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including AARTO.
Assisting with ad hoc projects and tasks as and when required.
Qualifications and experience required:
B-degree, Diploma in sales, other formal sales qualification or proven extensive successful Stop Order sales management experience in the insurance industry is essential.
Proven sales management track record: minimum of 3 years in sales management is essential, preferably with experience in the insurance industry and working with Independent Contractors.
Proven track record of consistent and successful Stop Order sales (proof to be presented at the interview).

Clear ITC and criminal check is a requirement.
Own vehicle, valid driver's license and PDP permit required.
