Role: Business Development Manager: Digital Channel (ICT)
Location: Cape Town
Our client is a Successful ICT company who focus on Unified Communication and they are currently looking for a BDM: Digital Channel to join their amazing team. This position is ideal for an ambitious ICT Sales professional who has a proven track record in increasing revenue and managing a Partner Sales program and building strong partnerships across diverse geographical markets. A focus is on both local and international markets in both traditional and new digital channels and therefore requires an understanding of the nuances and challenges of partner sales programs. Achieving annual sales targets will be a key performance indicator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, expanding, and growing existing business relationships while also identifying and securing new business opportunities. This will require a strategic balance of hunting for new channels and farming current partnerships to maximize revenue growth. Knowledge of UCaaS (Unified Communication as a Service) sales environment with CCaaS (Contact Centre as a Service) experience would be highly beneficial.
Qualifications & Experience:
? Tertiary qualification essential
? At least 5+ years of experience in a relationship management or business development role within the ICT industry, ideally UCaaS, CCaaS knowledge
? Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets, experience in both hunting for new opportunities and farming existing accounts to maximize growth
? Familiarity with managing relationships in international markets and navigating cross-cultural dynamics to drive global success
? Strong understanding of UCaaS and CCaaS solutions, along with the ability to articulate technical features and benefits to a variety of stakeholders
? Experience in a White Label partner ecosystem or SaaS-based business model
? Knowledge of the telecommunications or cloud communications industry (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
