The Position

As part of our Business Development expansion programme, we are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer engagement and working intimately with various internal and external stakeholders. The position is focussed on idea generation and early definition of solutions that attract and secure interest in the companyxe2x80x99s services and products. Key to the role are superior communication skills, the ability to articulate conceptual thinking in a manner that can be easily understood by both technical and commercial audiences.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent time-management and problem-solving abilities who thrives in fast-paced team environments.

Responsibilities:

• Business Development support on technical engagements and assist with crafting innovative and unique client solutions
• Promoting ProProcess technical capability in the market, by visiting international clients, interacting with industry leaders, and showcasing the Groups key capabilities at industry events
• Market research and new product / solution identifications
• Support Business Development team on internal projects to investigate and develop new markets
• Technology screening, concept development and participation in feasibility studies
• Innovation & continuous improvement targeted at the customer engagement journey

Requirements:

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in a related field xe2x80x93 preference for Chemical Engineering
• 2-3 years' experience in crafting technical solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Advanced skillset in time management and task prioritization
• Passion for exploring technological developments in given sector
• Ability to lead or work as part of team in conducting research on select technical topics
• Ability to multitask and identify opportunities for process improvement
