Task Description
Job Title: Business Developer - Sales
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager
Location: South Africa
Mission:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth in South Africa for CPaaS and IoT/Travel SIM products. This role involves identifying and targeting enterprise accounts, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful engagement and retention of customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with enterprise customers to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
Strategic Account Management & Growth: Develop and execute strategies to grow key accounts and maximize revenue.
Revenue & DM Accountability: Monitor and manage revenue and direct margin (DM) to meet financial goals.
Internal Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to ensure seamless service delivery and support to clients.
Collection Responsibility: Ensure timely collection of payments from clients.
Financial Responsibility
Responsible for managing an operational budget of EUR1-2 million in sales.
Success Factors:
Successfully onboard strategically relevant and profitable customers.
Maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers and a deep understanding of the market.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of CPaaS and IoT products and competition.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in CPaaS/IoT. This is a mandatory requirement.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Education
: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or equivalent experience.
Experience
: 5-7 years in a business development role.
Language Skills:
Proficiency in English (written and oral); additional languages are a plus.
Competencies
:
Initiative and ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills.
Experience in converting large projects and executing major negotiations.
Analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
Extensive industry experience in customer management.
You must have an experience in Cpaas and/or IoT, telecommunications sector.
Please keep in mind the role is on a permanent contract, based in South Africa.
