Our client in the Media industry is currently looking for a Senior Sales and Business Developer, in Sandton, Johannesburg.Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
• Build strong connections with industry partners and stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations and proposals.
• Interpreting complex production-related briefs.
• Draft detailed quotations and invoices in line with client needs.
• Advertising-Funded Programming (AFP) Function.
• Identify brands best suited to transition from traditional TV commercials to advertising-Funded Reality Shows.
• Create persuasive, data-driven business cases for AFP, highlighting strategic advantages such as audience engagement, brand alignment, and ROI.
• Work with our internal production and creative team to develop compelling AFP, show proposals tailored to each prospective client.
• Present the AFP model in a way that resonates with marketing managers, using trend data, case studies, and ROI-focused arguments.
• Recommend suitable broadcast platforms or channels, and justify choices based on market research and audience analytics.

• Minimum 10 years of sales experience, preferably in film, TV, video, media, AV and/or advertising or events.
• Existing relationships with blue-chip clients, ad agencies, AV companies, broadcasters, and/or government sectors.
• A deep understanding of sales psychology and how to convert leads into long term clients.
• A proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
• High energy, confidence, excellent communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong relationship-building and networking ability.
• Entrepreneurial mindset xe2x80x93 self-motivated, proactive, and driven to succeed.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.

• R25,000 xe2x80x93 R35,000 per month dependent on qualification and experience.
• Attractive Commission Structure with earnings of up to R1 million xe2x80x93 R2 million per annum.
